This page is dedicated to all the awards we have won. We would like to thank the hard work and dedication of the Friends of Cator Park and Alexandra Recreation Ground.
All these awards belong to each and everyone of you. Thank you for your help over the years and your continued support.
People for Parks Award, comprising of a certificate and a flag, from the London Borough of Bromley for all that we accomplished as Friends in both parks in 2008 and again in 2010. In addition we have been awarded a voucher for £200. This will be spent on two new signs for the parks.
We have been awarded a Grassroots Grant to the value of £3,973.00. This means that we will be able to purchase four new seats for the parks, as well as two picnic benches, two bat detectors and a portable P.A. system for our music events. We hope to see the fruits of this grant in the New Year. (See separate page for this award.)
